my 13 month old will climb up and down our full flight of stairs like it aint no thang.
but the two steps that go from the dining room down to the front room? he stands at least a foot away from the top and waaaails (even shakes a little!!) until I "rescue" him and take him down!
if only i understood how his tiny brain works!
does anyone else's LO do things like this?

We don't have stairs in our house, but that hasn't stopped him from going up and down stairs everywhere else we go...he'll spend an hour going up and down the stairs at my IL's house!
But god forbid he goes down the SINGLE step off of our deck! He will cry and reach up for me! I try offering him a hand down and he still just cries out until I pick him up...and then immediately wants to be put down!

@lovehoneybee: so he'll go down but not back up? that's awesome. it's the other way around for us! he'll climb up, then yell cause he's stuck up there and wants down!

@Penny Lane: He has no problem with most stairs but refuses to go down the single step off of our deck...he'll go up, but freaks out about going down.
