Last night poor L would not/could not sleep for more than 1.5 - 2 hours at a time. She would wake up sad-crying, not mad-crying like usual (when she wants a bottle). I'm pretty sure it was from an upset stomach, possibly reflux, because DH had given her chili last night, and she ate a TON of it! Probably close to 2 cups worth. Well, I use a looot of spices in my chili - not spicy, just a lot of various spices, we've never shared chili with her so I wasn't thinking of her when I made it. So, I'm thinking it was a lot for her poor tummy/intestines to handle, and was making her uncomfortable/in pain.

Anyone have tips or advice for if/when this happens in the future? It's going to be an adjustment for me to tone down the spices in my cooking as L starts eating more and more of real food. I was frantically searching around last night online, and pretty much only got: 'have your child pass a BM' and 'they have to work it off'. SO not helpful at 3 am!

I ended up just giving her small amounts of watered down formula every couple hours, then she'd go back to sleep before she woke up crying again. Broke my heart and made me very tired
