Thank you everyone for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers for my baby and my family. It didn't feel right to keep posting in a thread called "my baby's sick..." so I'm starting a new one. LB got a liver transplant yesterday and is doing so much better. All of his liver numbers are much improved. He still has a breathing tube and feeding tube in from the surgery, he detests both which I see as a good sign. We should get the breathing tube out today.

He has about 1 more week in the picu then another 2-4 weeks on the pediatric floor before we go home. He needs to get his meds perfected so that he keeps this beautiful, healthy liver.

Continue thinking and praying for him as well as for the donor family to find peace after losing their baby and giving us and other families the ultimate gift of our children's lives.
