An interesting idea... but the description said it can't be used during take off and landing which is when injuries would be most likely to occur.

@MamaMoose: yeah, I see that. We'll be flying to Newfoundland, and I've found our past flights there to be turbulent - and we may be in a smaller plane (2 seats on either side of the aisle) and those flights tend to be bumpier too...
