Did you end up getting bath towels for your little one or did you use adult towels you already had? If you did get baby bath towels, what brand would you suggest?

I liked Pottery Barn Kids towels the best. We used it for a while but then switched over to using the same adult towels that we use.

I have a few hooded towels from Target. We use regular adult towels when those towels are in the wash!

I thought baby-specific towels were kind of dumb, but we got a couple as gifts and we really do use them! Olive was born in December and we live in New England so it gets pretty cold. I was glad to have a hooded towel so that we could bundle her up as soon as the bath was over.

charlie adores, adores his hooded animal towels. he asks for the duck towel and the chicken towel. get the larger size pottery barn kids one if you do get them so they last longer. the small ones are pretty small.

We got hooded towels as gifts so I use them, otherwise I probably would have just used the small adult towels we have.

I got a PBK baby hooded towel as a gift.
Now we just use adult towels.

i have two towels that were made from regular adult towels but have a hood sewn onto them. they are our favorites by far! I also have a few from BRU that work really well. I would suggest making sure that the towels are the same material as you would buy for your own towels. We have some towels that are super thin and useless.

We had hooded ones until Mavrick was about 18 months old (clearly too big for that tiny towel) Now we use smaller towels for him.

DD1 still loves her Dwell Studio hooded towel and she is 4 and tall for her age! They are pricey, but I got one at a sample sale. They might go on sale at Gilt once in a while. We definitely are making very good use of it.
DD2 got gifted an infant PBK hooded towel and it's not going to last her much longer (she's 10 months now). I think I'm going to get her a Dwell Studio one next.

DS hates anything on his head, including hooded towels. We own a few so they're in the towel rotation, and I understand that they make cute gifts, but I wouldn't ever buy them myself.

We didn't get any as gifts (which I'm totally cool with since we got much more practical items) so I think we might just use one of our towels that we put away after I got new ones for the new house. Or, when we're at Babies R Us in a few weeks, maybe we'll pick one up for the fun of it. We'll see....

I really wanted the Aden and Anais towel! But I didn't get it.. so we didn't end up getting one.
We did get this cotton ducky blanket that we use as a towel because it's soft and absorbent and perfect for his delicate baby skin.

We got 3 hooded towels which we'll probably use for the first year then maybe just use adult towels or get a toddler sized hooded towel. My niece is 3.5 years old and she still uses a (toddler) hooded towel - loves it!

Anything hooded, all our towels were gifts to us from target, babies, and pottery barn kids (get the kids size, we only used the small size for a few months). I like the target ones the most.

We were gifted a couple of hooded bath towels, but I don't love any of them because they are pretty small and thin. If there are bigger and thicker options out there I would consider buying those.

We use our regular towels since the baby towels don't seem very absorbant. We tried two different brands though I can't remember what they were now. (How's that for helpful? haha)

We use the duck and alligator hooded towels from target. I wish They were thicker... I definitely like the hood tho!

We just use the regular adult towels cause I feel like they're more absorbent? I have 2 PBK towels that I got at my baby shower but we never use them cause they don't seem to soak up the water as well as our microfiber towels!

We use our regular towels. The baby hooded ones are soooo cute but we decided against them to save money.

I could have skipped baby towels completely, my son hates the hood, has from birth! We'll use the ones we have until they fall apart and then will use regular bath towels.

We only have 2 hooded towels from Carter's. It's not as fluffy as I'd like but it'll do the job. I plan to supplement by making my own with some ultrasoft towels I found on sale.
I Googled how to make it and it seems east enough: 2 large towels and 1 hand towel cut in half makes 2 hooded towels.

We have the hooded Carter's towels (frog and duck) and they are plush enough without being too much but aren't scratchy either. My son is just now starting to get a touch too big for them so I'm going to buy him the PBK hooded towels for kids.
