I've been picking up basics at Baby Gap's sale and ended up with the same colored pants but 2 different styles, like these.
Which do/did you prefer on your little boy? I personally lean towards the slimmer cut because I'm not a fan of baggy bottoms, but maybe boys tend to be chunkier and need the extra room?

I much prefer the slimmer look! I loved those slim leggings and had a million of them.

When DS was younger he wore the slimmer bottoms.
He wears the baggier sweatpants now.
I'm not a big fan of skinnies on little boys!

Totally depends on the boy's shape. One of mine is a string bean and the other is a chunky monkey

I have the top ones for ds.. They really ride up his legs! Bottom ones should stay put on his legs better

My boy is chunky, chunky, chunky. He needs the room. He did have one pair of skinny jeans once but we always got weird comments from people when he wore them.

I don't care for skinnies on boys, but I seem to be in the minority! They just don't seem comfy I guess? But pick what you like, they'd both work equally well!

I don't like skinny on boys either! But my boys are both chubby with big thighs - we need the extra room!

@shopaholic: My boys usually need the extra room, but the slim ones are cute. I actually have the top pair if you wouldn't mind used, and a few other baby Gap items also!

A wears both! He's got thick legs but he's tall too! Depending on the outfit he's happy and comfy in both! He does not like skinny cut jeans though, too tight. Straight leg and leggings are ok tho!

My son wore skinnier styles until he was about a year old. After that he fussed and would pull at his pants -- he much prefers a more loose fitting style. He cries if have him try on something that is more fitted.

I think it depends on the baby. Chunky babies look better in the looser style, at least, I think so.

My boy is a chunky monkey in the belly, thighs, and butt... so I prefer the looser style. I think it all depends on the boy!

Skinnies!
J's always been pretty lean. I always buy the skinny jeans for him and when he was tiny, the slimmer style cozies.
