What size Tiny Tom's should I get my 10 month old? I was thinking 4? Any Bees have Tom's tiny experience?

the tiny sizing is pretty much equivalent to toddler sizes!

I got size 5s for my kids at a year and they are still kind of big at a 18 mo. Because of the design, they slip off easily if they are at all too big, so I think my kids will be a square 6 in other sneakers by the time the toms will really work.

How does it compare to SKR vs Nike & Converse? ie LO is almost outgrowing 6 in Nike & Converse but they fit small compared to other toddler shoe brands.

@cheert16: I think my 19 month old (girl) has pretty average size feet and she's right now outgrowing 4s and is heading into 5s. So I would say maybe 3s!

@Mrs. Cowgirl: I have no idea what size he is in toddlers (mom fail...)
@MerryC: Awesome! Thanks! I think I will get the 4's and hope he grows into them!

@cheert16: heehee, i'm guessing unless he is gigundo feet, it's safer to go with a 3!

LO is 13.5 months and wearing size four in SKR and Pediped. Her size four Tiny Toms fall off her feet. Her feet are pretty true to size/age.

My LO wears 9-12 month in SKR smaller and size 3 tiny toms. She is almost 11 months.

@oliviaoblivia: same. i keep trying to put the size 4 toms on her with socks and they still fall off!

And 5s. For the future. While they're on sale.
I have no will power...

DD's TOMs say they are 2T. She is 13 months and has pretty small feet... they fit (her toes are nearly at the end of the shoe), but she can kick them off with no problem because they design is not that great for actually keeping shoes on.

@Mrs. Blue: I got 3 and 4 too.... Almost got 5- but hoped there would be. Sale before then!!

@cheert16: I find they fit slightly bigger than other toddler shoes. My son is a 5 in most shoes but his TOMS are still a little big. I think they fit long and narrow.

@Mrs. Blue: @cheert16: until I recently sold LMW's size 3s and 4s I had every size from 3-7 for her. And I have every size from 5-8 for Wagon Jr. Multiple in each size too. So bad. So so bad.

@cheert16: toms website has a shoe size chart you can print out & have your LO stand on to see what size they fall under

LO is almost 1 y/o, wear's 6-9 m in SKR, and our Tiny Tom 4s are still way too big.

Self control....

haah I almost bought a pair for myself and LO yesterday but I didn't love the selection left in her size. And wasn't enthralled with the mint green crochet either. Didn't love either enough to justify the $$$ for me.

@mrs. wagon: You just made me realize that my youngest has feet on the larger size! Never thought about that. He's 22 months and I feel like he's starting to outgrow his size 7 shoes! :O! He's always been taller and heavier compared to his big bro who was always very average. I'm just glad he has his brother's shoes to wear. I SO want to get him a pair of Toms but I'm resisting... he already has so many shoes from his big bro... And my oldest (almost 5) would shred a pair of Toms really fast the way he wears his shoes.

@erwoo: wow! I know, I sometimes don't realize how small WJ is (especially his feet). I take it for granted... he does NOT outgrow shoes very quickly. In fact, I just got a note from his teachers that he needs new sneakers because the ones he wears every day are falling off his feet and he's starting to trip. The only reason this is happening is because the shoes used to fit just fine, and now they are stretched and worn out because he's been wearing them so long! And these are New Balance sneakers!
He wore his first pair of tiny toms (navy corduroy size 5) for like 2 years. I didn't buy any formal or dark colored shoes... he even wore them to a wedding. I loved those! The tips wore down and showed the white underneath, but I colored them in with a sharpie. macguyver mom to the rescue.

@mrs. wagon: I've noticed my oldest outgrowing his shoes slower now too. Maybe age? I have yet to find out! Soooo tempted to get some Toms for my youngest though, especially since they are on Zulily...but the shipping usually gets me and I end up buying elsewhere. We'll see since I'm trying to convince my hubby to let me get a balance bike for him as well for his second bday. I feel like he always gets the small end of the stick b/c he always gets hand-me-downs.
