Any recommendations on a baby doll for DD1. We were thinking we'd get her one so she can get used to baby stuff and when the baby comes she can take care of her baby. Did anyone do this? What kind of doll did you get?

We didn't do this, but we got DD an American Girl bitty baby for Christmas last year. She loves it

I recommend madame Alexander huggums dolls. They are so adorable.

We bought DD a corolle mon premier baby doll for Christmas when she was 18 months old. Also, I'd recommend a small doll stroller. DD loves pushing her doll around.

DD got a bitty baby for Xmas (10 months) and she loves it!! She got the doll stroller for her bday and loves pushing it (and sitting in it lol). She is always hugging the baby, it's so cute!

I second the American Girl bitty babies. There's a lovely story that goes along with them and the stories have a nice emotionally intelligent message with parent guides at the end.

My mom bought C the boy baby Stella doll. Super cute but maybe you're wanting something more for a girl.

Corolle!!
I highly recommend it. The Corolle mon premier dolls are smaller than the American Girl bitty babies, so if she is petite you may want to go with Corolle. We have the Calin Paris Party and the little dress is so amazing. We also got really inexpensive sleepers at BRU that fit it perfectly.
