I feel like this is 6 in one half dozen in the other...as in, pretty much the same thing. Does anyone have comments about either jumper and why it's superior? Thanks : )

Hmm..they seem similar. We've never owned a jumper so I have no idea which is better. But when we were researching them at Babies R Us, we did notice a difference in the springiness. My husband said if we were to buy one, he'd opt for one that wasn't so springy, out of safety reasons. I know a lot of my mommy friends have the fisher price one and they love it.

We, and everybody else I know has the fisher price rainforest jumper. And everybody I know loves it, as does my LO.

Yes! That's the one my mommy friends have too. The Rainforest one. They all love that one.

Thanks! My sister has the Fisher Price rainforest one (from a few years ago) - they recently came out w/ a Zoo one too that has gotten good reviews. But, my mom (grandma) has an Einstein one at her house that she says the kids love.
I'm sort of at the point of "who cares" about half of this crap, but trying to do some research on the remaining registry items anyways....

@winniebee: I hear ya. After weeks of researching baby items, I got to a point where I was like "Oh whatever. I'm just gonna buy this and live with it." And then decided to just research the more important things that involved health or safety of the baby. Everything else was just a headache. I just asked around a few people and went with the majority vote.

I never got a jumper. Got the Baby einstein exersaucer though! SIL got the baby einstein jumper for her LO and barely used it. I would go for an exersaucer rather than a jumper! It's more useful.

We have the FP rainforest jumper, and the difference is probably with the kinds of activities that the kids can do. The FP rainforest one has a spinning alligator with beads, a spinning wheel, a bead maze, a few hanging things, a teether lion and some music. I could have done without the music, but the other activities were ones my son loved, even after he was out of the jumper.

I work at a daycare and we have both. The baby Einstein one is heavier, more to do and the babies can fit in it longer (the seat is bigger). The height levels are great also because they are good for small/short babies and tall babies (a 30lb baby still fits and so does our 3 1/2 month old). The fisher price one is much lighter and the seat is smaller. Its "level one" is much taller than the baby Einstein one but the Fisher price one gets much taller by the last level. One bad thing about the Fisher price one is since its so light, if a baby is jumping a lot it tends to lift from the floor. Kinda makes me nervous , but we just put boppy pillows on the bottom to weigh it down. This thing only happened with one child though, the rest were fine.
