I'm starting to look around for a convertible car seat for DS. He's 3.5 months, 26 inches and 17 pounds. We have a while to go before he exceeds the safety ratings of our infant seat but I want to get a good deal on the nextfit, so I figured I might as well start looking now. Ideally I would want to transition him before a 12 hour road trip we have planned in August, so we can't waituntil Black Friday.

Anyway, how much did you pay for the nextfit and where did you get it? Any tips on getting a great deal?
