Did You guys see this? That little girl that was abandoned a week ago in a plastic shopping bag in the bushes was released from the hospital yesterday. AND LOOK AT HER!!!!! Shes sooooo beautiful! And she already has a bottom tooth. So cute. What is wrong with people? This makes me want to cry and cuddle that little baby up.

Oh my word, she's so gorgeous! If I held this baby I don't think I could ever let go, let alone abandon her.
I hope the mother is okay. You must be in a pretty bad way - either circumstances or mental state or both - to abandon your baby an hour after giving birth. It's sad all round, isn't it?

This poor girl! I just don't understand why people don't take these babies to a fire station or hospital. I understand that there are cases where a baby must be given up, but at least give the baby the opportunity to thrive!

It must be pretty desperate circumstances to cause someone to abandon an infant like that. I'm glad she's ok and I hope the mom is ok and getting the help she needs. It's a sad situation all around!

@Mrs. Jacks: it really does have to be a desparate situation, especially since Texas (I believe) is one of those places that allows you to drop off an infant no questions asked at a police station/firehouse/etc. I dont care who you are, you bring a baby into this world and there is SOME sort of connection. I cant even imagine what sort of circumstances would force this to happen. My thought is hidden teen pregnancy, but who knows. Im just glad that beautiful little girl is safe and will be loved

Thank God that sweet girl is okay! This same thing happened where I live a couple years ago. Tye girl worked at our Walmart and one of her coworkers noticed she didn't look pg anymore and called the police bc she was acting like she hadn't ever been pg (went to work and everything) and the baby was found in the trash at her apt complex and is healthy and in a loving adoptive home now, thank god. I just don't understand. How could you do that? Physically, mentally, emotionally? Some people are just sick.

@Cherrybee: @LivsMama: you really have to feel for a woman / girl who had so little support that she felt like her only option was to abandon her newborn baby. I hope that wherever Chloe's Mama is she's getting the help and support that she so obviously needs.

This is AWFUL! Agreed it was probably a teen who didn't know what to do...
BUT, I have a weird question...is that a NEWBORN with A TOOTH already? Or was the baby in the hospital for so long she got a tooth? I'm a little confused, lol!

@shopaholic: Yep, she already has a tooth. I asked the same question. See some of the comments above. Apparently it can happen, just rare.
