Does the sizing run small or big for your LO in fitted dresses?

Well...M is wearing size 3 dresses from Gap and she is 2.5. She is average to above average in height and weight.

My DD is under the 10th percentile for height and weight and at 13 months she is wearing their 18-24 month dresses.

@mediagirl: my LO is 36.25 inches and 30 lbs so I think 3t should work?!

I think their dresses run small. R can still fit in 18-24 leggings/jeans but the dresses are all shirts on her.

@Smurfette: I just ordered the 4 as well. I figure I can return one...either the 2 or 4! The wedding is in May!

They run TTS to slightly big (long) on LO (12th percentile height 40something percentile height).

Short in length for us. I do have 95th percentile height kids, but I still think they run short. 4 year old wears size 6 for length.
Eta - just saw the height. LO2 is the same height so 3t will be good. 4t will be too long unless the dress is sized weird.

They might run a tad small because I always buy a size up and DD fits it fine. She is average height (50%) and weight (60%).
