We just found out the gender if our baby and I couldn't resist picking up a few things for him! Some of the clothes came on store hangers which got me wondering whether to eventually buy baby hangers? Rather than having a shirt on say a Carters hanger? What did you do or what do you plan to do?

We bought a bunch of baby hangers from Babies R Us when they were on sale. We put onesies and bottoms in drawers but hung outfits on hangers.

We never bought or kept baby hangers. I just fold everything neatly in his dresser.

they are pretty inexpensive at Target. A 10 pack is $1.99? ...maybe less, I can't recall exactly. We got a few packs because not every store let's you keep hangers. Most baby clothes we have are folded though, except dresses.

We bought baby hangers from Walmart. I don't like the plastic store hangers and not everything comes on a hanger anyway. Our system is similar to @rubies.

We'll be folding everything. British bedrooms don't have closets and there's no room for a wardrobe in the nursery. Since we're having a boy, I can't imagine there will be anything that really needs hanging anyway.

Thanks! I was going to toss them but wasn't sure if it was wasteful! Agree most boys clothes are foldable anyways.

We bought target hangers, they're very cheap. I only hang up dresses and coats so I didn't need very many.

We have a large closet for DD & I hang all of her clothes, including pants. The hangers can get pricy but I just bought them throughout the pregnancy & when they went on clearance. I like having all her clothes hanging so that I can see what we have clean, match everything easier, etc. For pant hangers, the ones with the clips, I clip about 2-4 pairs/hanger.

We just toss everything in a big chest of drawers. Hanging baby clothes seems pretty tedious, especially since most of them won't wrinkle anyway.

I am neurotic about hangers matching in my own closet, so I will likely toss the manufacturer hangers, and buy a couple sets of ones with the velvety covering, so things don't slip off, that being said, most clothes will be folded, so I don't think I would need that many.
