We are quickly approaching the crawling zone and while I am really excited, I can't help but worry about my daughter's knees. Our house is all tile except for the bedrooms so I was wondering if anyone has used knee pads before? I came across Kneekers but I was wondering if there were any other options. Thanks!

My daughter seemed to be OK crawling on wood floors. I just always made sure she had long pants on. Can you cover a large area with soft foam mats? We did that, too.

I have pants or baby leggings on her and she seems to be fine on wood floors. Sometimes her knees get a little red right after but it goes away pretty quick and she hasn't gotten any abrasions. I did just pick up a soft rug for her to crawl around on in the living room and she does like to hang out on that but she'll still crawl off of it plenty and explore.

Yeah, we have wood floors and I just bought a playmat for him. He scoots off it, of course, but he's never seemed any worse for the wear.

we had wood floors and foam playmats and charlie was fine. you can always put babylegs on your lo if the floor bothers her.

We have hardwood floors throughout and we worried about our LO's knees too. So we bought him a few pairs of Bees Knees pants and we loved them. We had him wear them almost every day.

We have hardwood floors and foam floor mats and our LO is doing fine without knee pads.
