DD finally meets the weight requirement for our K'tan at 1month today I took her out the past two days in the K'tan and I love it! It was so nice to be able to take her in the metro and not worry about getting a stranger to help me with the stroller.

I looooooooooooooooooooove our K'Tan! Seriously don't go anywhere without it!

@regberadaisy: Penelope has always felt pretty snug in it and it still fits at 5 months. Not really sure how, but it does. lol.

Hi ladies, hope nobody minds my resurrecting this thread but I am having a 'panic' about our k'tan...

I got DH to pick one up for me while he was in the US a few weeks back (we live in the UK), and I got him to purchase the Medium size... without remembering that US dress sizes are different to UK sizes!

I'm now worried that the K'tan I have, is going to be too big for me to use LO isn't due until September, so the only thing I've been able to try is putting a teddy bear in it - it seems to fit 'ok' but its not all that snug, and of course the bear weighs practically nothing compared to a human infant!

I'm a UK dress size 12/14, which I think is about a US 10/12... according to the sizing on the website I should be ok - but do other K'tan wearing bees think the medium is the 'right' size for me or have I made a mistake?

THANK YOU for mentioning the breeze. I live in FL and am generally super sweaty, so I immediately switched mine over to breeze on the registry. Very smart!!!

I'm also worried about sizing, I'm a 14 on top but 16 on bottom pre preg, so hopefully the large fits, just nervous!

@evenstar982: I totally had a teddy bear in mine this weekend too! I was showing DH how it worked and needed a "body" to demonstrate!
I think I'm the same size as you and I got the medium-- I had tried it on in a store with a sales person and she said the M was right for me. I agree it's hard to tell though-- especially since I have a rather large bump to contend with right now too. I figure the band that wraps around will help if it feels slightly loose, and I hear washing and drying it will tighten it up when it starts to feel a little loose.

@Foodnerd81: @Smurfette: @edelweiss: thanks ladies, I feel a bit better now I also tried it with the extra band wrapped around in addition and that helped with feeling more secure... a girl down the street from me has something similar looking and I keep seeing her out and about with her baby who looks so snug and safe in it! Looking forward to when I'll be able to test mine out for real.
