Can you recommend a good brand of baby moccasins?
I love freshly picked but I couldn't ever spend $60 on a pair of kid shoes.
I got J's pair from zulily, the brand is rugged bear, but I can't find them anywhere.
Anyone know of any other cute brands?

@coacheswife123: they had a 20% of sale about a week ago and I still couldn't bite the bullet and buy a pair! I don't think they have sales that often either and no more than 20% when they do.
I know there is the brand Minnetonka on amazon too but those have such poor reviews I'm scared to order them.

@Mrs. Pen: I've seen Minnetonkas in real life and they dont seem like bad quality? We didnt own them, but Ive seen and felt them.

Zara has a super cute pair on their website right now, but they're not really wintery moccasins. More like loafers.

We have a purple pair at home. I'll check the brand when I get home.
These look cute...

@scg00387: which ones do you have? The zippered ones said the zippers never stay up, and then the slip on ones, reviewers said the sole is really hard...
@zippylef: oh those are cute! I would def put those on J. I do want a pair of "boot style" he can wear in the winter just walking to the car too... those might get snow in them.. but I love them!
@oliviaoblivia: I just saw those while looking myself- so cute! I wonder if they're a good shoe for experienced walkers since they don't have a sole?

@Mrs. Pen: I have slip ons myself; they're super comf. Not sure about the kids version though!

We had Minnetonkas this winter. She wasn't yet walking, though, so we had a soft sole pair

@Mrs. Pen: I was lusting after the Freshly Picked ones too but even with 20% I thought it was too iffy to buy and not know her future size!
@oliviaoblivia: that's a GREAT lookalike! Saving in memory bank for the future!
Fwiw- I've had plenty of Minnetonkas for myself and they're great quality and comfy. But I haven't seen little ones as cute as the FP ones.

@Mrs. Pen: We have these. They're a size 2, but fit more like a 3.5. I wouldn't say he has fat feet, but they aren't narrow and they fit him well through the winter. I haven't looked into what other moccasins Minnetonka has for older kids, but I'll likely get another similar pair in the fall for him. They're very nicely made.

Several of the kids in my family have had soft soled Minnetonka moccasins, but mostly before they could walk. They always seemed good quality, though.

I have Minnetonkas for myself and they're great quality. I bought some for Row but they don't fit her yet. They are super adorable though!
