Following! DD just started crawling, so we need to get on it.

We installed baby gates the at the top and bottom of the stairs, and you will want to put knob cover/locks on any door leading outside.

I feel like our LO may be less adventurous than others. We haven't done too much baby proofing yet besides the gate and outlet covers!

Anchor any tall furniture to the walls right away- it's much easier to do it then than after you've put stuff out on them. Also make sure the tv is mounted to the wall or otherwise anchored.

Outlet covers. It's good to get the kind that you don't actually have to remove, just slide over, for the outlets you use a lot, since it's Easy to forget to plug the cover back in (ahem, DH).

You will probably need cabinet locks. Some babies are less curious so you could always wait and just lock anything that she really really can't get into. Type depends on your knobs or handles.

Those were our big things. Everything else we waited to see what she got into before worrying about it. We don't have stairs in our condo but if we did we would have had to hate them immediately since c is obsessed.
