I want to start teaching LO some basic sign language - any resources I need to check out? Youtube channels, blog posts, etc? If you taught your baby sign language, what did you find helpful?

We have this book.
My LO started talking and communicating with us early on so I didn't sign with her all that much. She knew the basics though--"more, all done, etc"

we watch Signing Time on PBS. You can also find some clips on YouTube. My youngest signs a little but is also very verbal... She's 18 months and says about 50 words. She puts two words together too. Her favorite signs are More, Eat, Sleep, and Shoes. My eldest knew the ASL alphabet at 2 yo and she's almost 5 now... Picks up signs really well, and it helps with stuff like spelling at her stage. You just have to be repetitive and incorporate it in your day to day activities.

I checked out a dvd from the library to learn the basics, we do it consistantly but LO hasn't signed back yet.
