Our doc just gave us the OK for sunscreen at M's 4 month appointment (thank goodness because it's starting to get HOT here!). We plan to use BabyGanics since we use lots of their other products and she has never had any issues/reactions with them.

@regberadaisy: Great minds think alike! I was looking at Mustela since they have great skin products but 22$!?

@winniebee: I know...I kinda want to barf a little. I want to put "safe" products on her skin but not sure if I can stomach it....
I think I might bc we'll be pool side so often this summer..

We used Badger, and really liked it. Even though it's a bit greasier (according to some commenters, but i didn't think so) i found it worked better when we were in the pool. I paid $17, but things are more expensive in Canada.

@Freckles: how's the water resistance? Leaning towards Badger as well.

@regberadaisy: We used Neutragena last year while at the beach (per pediatrician OK even though we weren't even in the sun). It is super thick and hard to spread so I don't want to get it again, FYI.

I bought BabyGanics.. but not sure what we will use... LO has VERY sensitive skin so I've changed to eczema products for him.

@regberadaisy: Unfortunately, the water was too cold in Cuba that we weren't able to try it out! But from what the salesperson told me, it's better for the water.

@MamaMoose: I bought some Babyganics at Target (without consulting our pediatrician... is that bad? Whoops) and it worked well for us! Granted, we were only in the pool one day for about 30 minutes.

We're sunscreen connoisseurs.
I can vouch for Badger and BabyGanics, but they are both really thick, making the application process on a toddler something of an art form.

@HabesBabe: I only consulted because the bottle says to ask a ped before 6 months and we are going to the beach right before she turns six months.
