I haven't and probably won't! I might submit his photo to a cute baby contest or something but having him model for an agency just isn't something I'm interested in. I don't have the time, lol! Interested to hear if others have any input and what their experience might have been! I know the people at the mall who approach moms are typically scammers...

From everyone I have spoken with about these kinds of things, if an agency requires you to pay for shots or portfolio to "market" your kid to clients, it's just not worth it. A real, profitable agency probably wouldn't charge their models for representation. So you might want to ask what the cost to you is up front. You may get "nothing! ...all we need is to pay the photographer to take headshots..." etc.

Also, you need to be totally flexible to take your child to shoots, so you need to be a SAHM who is not married to a nap schedule. And from everyone I've talked to, the money that is made is not worth the time and effort you have to take. They may ask you to cut your child's hair in a certain way, etc.

That being said... if you just wanna get them out there, go for it!!! Uppababy put out a casting call and we got chosen (we're local to their headquarters) and Wagons Sr. and Jr. were on the cover of their catalog 2 years ago. Fun! But we were not compensated at all. They did let us use their friends and family discount though

One of my coworkers was a baby model haha! He also was in commercials. I don't think I would put my own LOs in modelling.

I would totally let LO model. Her rolls are amazingly adorable and she seriously lets us do the funniest stuff with her (read: my Instagram is full if baby in a box pictures), but I don't think the compensation is worth it for us (:

I'm way too private for this! I don't even like blogging because I'm hesitant to show pics of the kids. I'd LOVE to see any of your LOs on catalogs though!! FUN!
