I have not ruled out the modern Moba bassinet & stand, but as a first sleeping place I am once again drawn to Babyhome's Air bassinet. One main reason I like this piece is that the legs can rock.
Does anyone have experience with this? Your thoughts?

We had one and I really did love it but now that I see that there are bassinet options that are higher and closer to bed level I do think that would have been easier. We only used it until 5 months so I would factor that into your decision too. The other plus was we did travel with it in the early days when we took a trip when my daughter was 4 months old.

@teawithpaloma: in pictures it always looks kind of high, but half the time there's a kid peaking into the bassinet. What would you choose now in hindsight?

I was obsessed with this because of the rocking, wheels feature. I bought it but ended up returning it unopened because LO #2 will not have a nursery the first few months so I really need something with storage underneath. I did read multiple reviews complaining about the low height.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Thinking about it, it is relatively high. I think my challenges in the first month or so was being so tired and just having to reach down in my sleep and return the baby after nursing. Some people don't mind this or get up to make bottles anyway. So I really did like from month 1-5 and then we switched to a crib. Looking back and knowing that our crib cost $300+ I feel like the bassinet was a lot of money for a short amount of use. But it was a gift and I will certainly use it again with a future kid.

@teawithpaloma: was it easy enough to store? We are planning to have at least two kiddos back to back so the cost per use is justifiable.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Yes, its under our bed now and we even broke it out when our friend came with her 5 month old and it was easy enough to break down and set up quickly.
