Well, today is just icing on the cake. Last week my manager cut my hours to two days a week (because I called off during a snow storm). And this week, my husband who works nights just got a call from his workplace that they wouldn’t be open nights this week, so he doesn’t have any hours this week. We’re so far in debt; I’m trying to just find another job to get us afloat – I’ve even applied at KFC. My bachelor’s degree is coming in real handy right now.

When I search for jobs there seems to always be babysitter wanted ads. I thought maybe I could pick up some part time work doing something like that. Have any of you started baby sitting late-in-the-game (versus highschool mall-money, Claudia Kishi era babysitting)? Do you think I would be able to do it and bring my son (5 months)? I’m so clueless.
