I was interested in getting N the balance bike that Mrs. Cowgirl reviewed on the blog, but some Amazon reviews say it's not great for taller kids. Anyone have balance bike recommendations for a tall 3-year old? I'm overwhelmed by the selection out there! Also, my daughter is on the cautious side.... anyone have a cautious toddler who loves their balance bike?

i would also not get that one as it is for shorter kids. i think charlie is about to outgrow his. don't know much about other ones though!

@Mrs. Bee: did you get charlie the one that mrs. cowgirl reviewed? are you planning to get charlie another balance bike, or are you going to introduce him to a regular bike soon?

I don't know what kind of reviews it has, but I just saw Kazam bikes when I was catching up on Shark Tank episodes the other day. My husband said they look like they're more suitable for taller kids.
We have a Strider and my LO is of average height (he just turned 2). The seat is and handle bars are at their lowest setting right now so I don't foresee him outgrowing it anytime soon.

@Mrs. High Heels: I saw the Kazam balance bike on Shark Tank and it looks awesome! My LO is only 8 months old, though, so I can't recommend it from personal experience.

@Mrs. High Heels: I really like the look of the Kazam bike. It looks a little retro and there is a footplate in the middle that I think differentiates it from other balance bikes.

Did mrs cowgirl recommend strider? My tallish dd started on a strider at age 4 with the extender seat (purchased separately). She did great on it. We use the original seat that came with it for my DD who is 2 and on the small side.

@Mrs. Bee: ours has a fully adjustable handlebar and seat so I was a little shocked and confused when you guys said it was geared towards shorties. We bought our last summer so maybe it's a newer version?

@T-Mom: Yup - she recommended the strider. Good to know that even your 4 year old is still riding it. I really like the look of the strider - I'll have to look into the extender seat as a possibility!
