We cloth diaper during the day, but use disposables at night. It just seems best for my diaper rash prone DD. Since my son was born, a lot of biodegradable diapers have hit the market. I've tried a couple of brands with DD, but haven't been impressed. Does anyone know of a biodegradable brand that works well?

We started with Bambo Nature and loved them. So soft. They're from Denmark and very eco-conscious. I must have gotten a great deal on the first bags I bought because every time I tried to buy more they were super expensive. We switched to other options since I didn't want to spend that much.
Another possibility is layering a disposable insert (like gdiaper or flip) over a prefold or something. We did that for awhile.

Have you tried gDiapers? The disposable inserts are biodegradable. I used them on both of my LOs and we never had diaper rash issues. I loved them and thought they were super cute.

I use Bambo nature diapers. It's one diaper a day for us since we only use them at night so I'm ok with the cost.

@lamariniere: we actually use gDiapers with the cloth inserts during the day. We do use the biodegradable inserts regularly enough. But they don't work as well overnight as your typical disposable. So-- hence trying to find one we can feel good about from an environmental perspective.

We used Bambo Nature and bought them through Amazon Subscribe and Save because nobody carried them locally. We were very happy with them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again if we decide to have another kid.

We used Poof and they worked well! We received a pack as a gift so I don't know much else.
