Yes or no?
I was no, then my daughter wouldn't wear her hair up and it was always hanging in her face. So now I'm a yes. And I think she looks adorable. Haha.

I think they look adorable but I don't have the patience to deal with maintenance!
Beside my DD has curly hair so she doesn't even have the option!

I was a no because the grow out phase is so awkward that I figured I'd get it over with while she was amenable to hair bows. Turns out her hair had different ideas and sprouted bangs on its own around a year.

I always had bangs growing up, but I also had straight hair. When I hit puberty, my hair turned wavey, so I grew my bangs out.
I think bangs on girls are cute! But probably only if they are straight, haha.

I think they're so cute! And I'm jealous of them-- I have curly hair and so bangs are baaaaaad on me. I think lo is going to have straight hair like her daddy so she'll have bangs someday (though she barely has any hair now, it's hard to imagine her hair!)

My daughter has bangs and I love them. I think they are adorable on her. But I have had bangs for 90% of my life so I may be biased.

I think they are really cute. LO has straight hair so I think they would work, I just worry I'll constantly be taking her in for a bang trim (I am not confident in my ability to do it myself).

@Adira: haha funny - I had waves until I hit puberty and then it went straight!
I think bangs are sooo cute. I hate that I have a big 'ol cowlick in front of my face that prevents bangs from really happening.

I think bangs are a slippery slope. Or they were for me. . . I have very curly hair and my mom didn't know how to deal with it. And for some reason, she thought bangs were a good idea. I finally got rid of them senior year of COLLEGE! I look at pictures now and get mad at friends for not telling me to ditch them a long time ago.
Oh, on girls? Oh yeah, they're cute. Just make sure you're ready to hold in intervention someday.

We are a no for our girls. So far. I think they are cute but I do not want to keep getting them trimmed.

My 15 month old DD has bangs and has for the majority of her life. I think she's adorable with them, but then sometimes I see her with her hair pulled back and think she'd be cuter without... and then I cut them the next week because it's a PITA to pin them back. I actually had a post about it a while back because I'm so darn indecisive!

I don't want to deal with the maintenance so I hoping to avoid them.

We did bangs for the longest time for my DD and it was really cute but hard to keep up. We finally grew them out. It seriously has taken a year to do!

I'm doing my best to avoid them because of maintenance. LO still will let me pull her hair back daily but some days I get protest. When we talk about short hair and what we won't do to her hair anymore she usually gives in. At 3 she's only had one haircut. Her hair is nearly down to her rear in the back. If only the sides would catch up.
