Y'all, I just spent $175 At Target. that's it. I'm not allowed to go there by myself ever again! They had my favorite workout shorts and sports bras on sale, how could I resist?!
Please tell me I'm not the only person who shouldn't shop there alone.

You are not alone! I can stick to a spending limit...but then I will go like 5 times in one week! So dangerous.

Every single time I go I don't understand how I spent so much! I had two Target gift cards as shower gifts and spent them both in one go. It's dangerous.

Haha target is my weakness. I'm feeling an itch to go. I had DH go with me yesterday to pick up a few things and tell me I can't have all the extra stuff I see there. I got mad at him and told him I should have left him at home. Lol

The crazy thing is I never spend less than $100 there and I never really know what I bought. If I spent $150 someplace else, I'd be able to say I bought a great bag or a pair of shoes and a dress. At target I spend ridiculous amounts of money and return home with toilet paper, a cheap t-shirt, a maxi dress I'm not that excited about and batteries. And yet, I can't stay away!

Target trips are a minimum of $50 for me... When I usually only needed something for $10
when we lived close to one, I tried not to go more than once a week. Now that we are 1hr away from target my minimum to spend has gotten much higher lol

I used to be really bad at Target. Now I'm pretty good. I try not looking at the ads. That always gets me.
What gets me is Costco. I just bought a huge key lime pie! My DH is out of town right now, too. I took 5 slices and took the rest of the pie to work. Oh, I was going into Costco for a quick trip. Yup, was not a quick trip. Spent $160.

@babyjmama: I can't walk in there! I drop so much $$$ every time I set foot in there on absolutely nothing! Seriously. I unload everything afterwards and by the end of the day, I'm like, "what did I even buy there?"

@bluestriped bee: yesss, Costco is my weakness too, even more so than target! Mainly because I go to Costco at least once a week and each trip is $100+ (before getting gas). I manage to go to target only about once a month, so it's less dangerous for me. Both are one mile away from me.

@bluestriped bee: at Costco I at least feel like I have spent money on quality items that we need (but yeah, I can't walk out of there spending under $200 lol) at Target I feel like all I have bought is crap.

@Mrs. Fox: Yes! This is exactly how I feel! But I can't stay away either.

Target is dangerous - there are always "deals" and an errand for one thing turns into needing 10 things. At least I spend less on clothes there now as having a baby makes it a pain to go into the dressing room.

Me!! Just yesterday I spent WAY to much on crap I didn't really need to buy. But I kept walkin around so R would sleep longer in the Ktan.

I may or may not have just gotten back with 3 new pairs of shoes, a tutu and cardigan for DD. I went for laundry detergent.

When I first had DS I would go there just to walk around- it was like my safe place! Also I would spend do much money- I am trying to go only once every couple weeks now!

Haha I go with a shopping list and am good about sticking to it
I always spend at least $75 when I go though!

I'm banned from buying groceries there...I always bring home stuff for the babies!

Target is my weakness, especially since I opened a Red card. The 5% off helps justify my trips there a bit
and the discount also apples to Starbucks inside Target!

I'm a sick person for how happy this makes me to know I'm not alone!

I am actually getting much better about my target trips! I have learned to get what I went for, for the most part!
