Which store do you prefer to shop at: Target or Walmart?
For me it depends on what I'm buying. I prefer Target for clothes, home goods like curtains or shower rods, certain cosmetics that Walmart doesn't carry. But I go to Walmart for things like camping supplies, dog beds, poster board and such.

Target is my favorite store. But we only have Walmart in my town. I do regular shopping there & go to Target for fun stuff!

Target. Not very happy about how they are treating their employees. As a former Target employee, I'm on team Target for everything.

Target for sure. I have never been to Walmart without regretting it and vowing to never return. Eventually I end up there again and the cycle starts over.

I prefer Target. I go to Walmart for my eye appointments...I love my Dr. there.

Target, I can get things cheaper with manufacturer coupons, Target Coupons and Target's Cartwheel.

Target! I can get in and out so much faster. And the store just looks brighter and nicer.

Target!!! DH thinks we should go to Walmart instead because it's cheaper but I hate the experience. Walmart is just so....blah. I don't care if they compare their steak to a steak from Ruth Chris's (per their commercial). It is NOT like steak from Ruth Chris. Also, I feel like groceries should be bought at a grocery store (or Costo...Costco is the exception). It makes e feel weird to buy apples next to falling prices. HAHA.

I don't mind paying a small premium for a much nicer shopping experience, so Target. However, I acknowledge how very fortunate I am to be able to say that. A lot of folks, whether because of geography or income, depend on Walmart.

Ok...so Walmart is 5 minutes away and Target is more like 15 minutes. I would love to be at Target all the time for things, but I'll admit that I go to Walmart more.
But, for grocery shopping I prefer neither...I don't think either of them around here ever have a lot of the things I regularly buy, and I don't trust either stores' meat department.

If I HAD to choose, I'd say Target. I'm not actually sure where to closest Walmart is around here, I know it's pretty far away and that suits me just fine. But I very rarely shop at either place, as I can get the same stuff elsewhere without the upselling that they try to do. I'm really hoping that having a baby isn't going to significantly increase the time I have to spend at Target!

Definitely Target! It's a more enjoyable shopping experience. Although I think my wallet would appreciate it if I went to Walmart more often because I wouldn't be so tempted and leave the store spending $100+ each time.

Target, but only because it's closer than any Walmart in my area. I used to shop at Walmart all the time and I liked most of their products.

Target. My dad had a thing about Walmart's labor practices, so we weren't allowed to shop there, though I wouldn't in the first place. When we were visiting my inlaws, I needed a breather, so we went to Target. Oh yeah, I registered for wedding and baby there too.

The Walmarts in my area are SCARY. As in, scary people shop there. My husband told me I'm not allowed to go there by myself.

Target. But we don't have Walmart in NYC. Every time they try to come here people protest the heck out of it and it's a no go.
But the Target closest to me is not as good as Targets outside of New York.

I buy toiletries at WalMart but pretty much nothing else. The lines at the registers are always ridiculous, their produce sucks, and its just an all around unpleasant experience.
Target, on the other hand, I absolutely adore. I'm so happy that most of our baby supplies aren't carried at WalMart so I have another excuse to go to Target

I'm with @Pink Champagne: our Walmarts are really scary, I will not go into one. Even if there was one in our town, I'd still drive to Target which is 35 minutes away!

Wal Mart is the only thing we have in this small town! I love Target but sadly it's 30 mins away 
I wish I could shop there instead though!

So our small town only has a WalMart and I totally go there a few times a month. I prefer Safeway for groceries, but I definitely hit up Walmart for certain things. I'm sure I'd go there way less if the closest Target wasn't 30 mins away though.
