I'm the one line Walmart vote. I've been to target a couple times since it opened and it is sucky and expensive. Walmart has great prices and everything I need. It is my one stop shop. I rarely even go to the grocery store anymore.

Target, the Red Card gives even more of an incentive to shop there and I love seeing how much I saved so far this year. Target is about 15 mins away while the nearest Walmart is about 45 mins

I am sooooo not surprised at the hellobee user poll. Haha. I prefer Walmart! Cheaper, by far. I buy groceries, toiletries, get my oil changed and get necessities there. I can buy clothes and spend money on things I don't need at target. Walmart wins.

Target. I boycott Walmart for a number of reasons. Though I don't grocery shop at Target either.

I go 3 extra miles and a bunch more stop lights out of my way for TARGET.

Target for sure. Wal-Mart is closer to our house, but I drive the extra 5 minutes to go to Target. However, I do agree with @mediagirl, I'm much less likely to spend money on stuff I don't need at Wal-Mart.

Target, for sure. I hate shopping at Walmart I always leave in a bad mood. I only go there is I absolutely have to, like when I visit my parents and it is the only store around.

Target, it's a much better shopping experience. Walmart if I'm at work and need something ASAP.

We always shop at Walmart and I actually like shopping at Walmart because (here at least) the people are way more friendly and helpful than at target and it is wayyyyy cheaper. There are some things I like to but at target but it is way further away so I don't go often at all.

@Mrs. Yoyo: exactly.
I am lucky enough to be able to choose to never walk into a Walmart. I do realize this...

I think this might be harder if our Walmart was at all nice. I vowed never to go back. The unhelpful staff, long lines, rude shoppers, and messy store (at our neighborhood store) are too much for me. However I've been to ones that were nicer and I think price wise they give Target a real run for it's money.

Target. I've been to several walmart for work supplies and I always leave feeling dirty. I don't like taking LO. Thank goodness Target is right next to my house.

I don't love Target like a lot of people, but its definitely better than WalMart. Cheap crap comes with a high price for communities.
