I O'd earlier than usual this month so we had BD'd 2 days before and not the night of. Dang!! So Sunday we BD'd and I O'd on Tuesday. PLEASE please please tell me there is still a chance. Logically I know sperm live for a certain amount of days but it feels like it was so off. Dang TWW - Killing me!

i think you definitely have a chance! sperm lives around 5 days or so so that would include your 2 days plus the day you ovulate and the day it takes for the egg to travel down the tubes.
i also think it also helps to BD the day after your O.

There is a chance. Sperm can live for upwards of 5 days if I remember correctly. If it helps you to recognize signs of fertility. Anytime you have clear, stretchy or lubricative mucous you should be BD. This is the best and easiest sign of fertility.

There's definitely hope! I actually think that it's much more key to BD the days before you O rather than actually on O day...because it takes a while for the little swimmers to get up there (sometimes 12 hours!) but they can live for several days after that. Sounds like you actually timed it well : )

@ ehovorka - the month we conceived I thought we might be out because we BD the day before my positive OPK (and the day after) but not on the day of. Pretty sure it was the day before stuff that helped us out because by the day after, it was probably too late (or at least cutting it really close!)

I agree with @winniebee that BD before O is probably the most beneficial thing to do! It sounds like your timing was actually perfect!

I have a friend who only BDed 5 days before O, and now is halfway through her pregnancy! There's definitely still a chance!

Claire was conceived with our doing the BD 3 days before I O'ed. My husband got sick that cycle, and I was so sure that I couldn't get pregnant — what an awesome surprise!
That being said, does anyone else find it a bit weird that you know exactly which day your child was conceived?

As the others have said, I think you are in good shape. I'm hoping that doing the BD the day before I O'ed and the 5 days before was the right thing this month (We couldn't do the BD the day I O'ed). Good luck to you!

Babydeux was conceived 4 days before I O'ed. So it's VERY POSSIBLE!

I agree with everyone else! We BD 2 days before and didn't again until way after... and now I'm 6 months preggo. It can happen!!!
