I wouldn't, if you have someone available to watch your LO. Toddlers won't understand what's going on, and he won't have fun at all. Plus, you can concentrate more on the service if you aren't distracted by trying to tend to your LO.

However, I don't think it's offensive to the family to bring your LO. I've lost a baby, but I don't get mad at other people having them. Your baby is still your family.

I think I would leave him with a sitter. It's hard to know how your friends will react and it will be easier to talk to them when you're nor chasing down a toddler.

...just don't. I am putting myself in her place, God forbid, and I'd hurt to see it. Plus: if people always ask about your baby: then you should bring him because people will be excited to see him which might draw more unwanted attention. I just think due respect can be better given if your attention is not divided between toddler/sermon

No, I wouldn't either. I think in a situation like this, no one would really expect you to bring your LO. I understand it's a large setting and there would be a lot of people but it's more than likely they'll notice a toddler.

I only bring lo to funeral services for close family members. I think babies can cheer people up, but if they aren't my family I figure they don't really care about my kid so it's just a distraction. I also think it just depends on the mom. My sil lost two babies when she was pregnant with triplets and she didn't seem to mind people who brought kids. In fact my lo provided some good comic relief during part of it.
