    So...AsaVea 3.0...got it for $38 on amazon!

Took about 2 mins to heat up to the hottest. I had showered and brushed my hair, then I air dried it with lots of finger combing. Probably would have been kinky-er if I would have slept on it.

I can’t believe how well it worked. I thought it would be straight but not “wear my hair down” straight. WOW I’m impressed.

It took me about 7-8 mins total...while watching a 2 year old who was in to everything. So maybe 5 mins completely focused? I’m real pleased!

This thread made me go to Ulta to check out hair options. I ended up getting the Revlon paddle dryer/styler. It was about $35. You use it on wet hair and dry/smooth at the same time. I've used it a few times now and like it more than my regular hairdryer. My hair is thick and wavy (even curly in spots) and the Revlon made it smooth and shiny and dried fast. Thanks for the inspiration, all!

@Mrs D: Your hair looks sooooo good! I think you've convinced me! Sounds like it works similarly to the Amika just tons cheaper. Thanks for sharing your before and after.

I feel like my hair looks deceivingly straight in the before...this is my hair natural...no brushing of course, and likely just a bit of oil...

I am chiming in to say the mini Amika works pretty great! I have shoulder length, fine, mostly straight hair but it has a little wave right in the top in the front. Three minutes brushing it with the mini and it looks like I took the time to blow dry it. With my hair the expensive full size one would be overkill but the mini does the trick really nicely!

Anyone uses a one step dryer/brush like this one?

@Foodnerd81: thanks for the review, I just bought this one! My hair is fine and curly and to my shoulders, but I've lost so much curl and hair since pregnancy. I hope this will help since I currently hate my hair.

@Foodnerd81: thank you so much for the update!! It sounds like we have very similar hair (though mine may be a bit more wavy) and I was skeptical of the mini, but didn't want to pay for the full size. I will order it now!!

Of course, if anyone sees a coupon for the full size, let this group know!
