Not sure where all you've looked by what about Crate and Barrel or Pottery Barn, or maybe local department stores like Macy's? I heard Bloomingdale's has a nice selection! We get ours at Ikea, but we keep it simple.

ours came from west elm. the 600 thread count bamboo sheets came from macys. get a good thread count! They are SO COMFY

I had the HARDEST time with this. I wanted to register for them for my wedding but never did (besides the bottom sheets) because i couldn't find anything I liked! Eventually I found a Dwell Studio Duvet on Amazon that I really love

I found the Crate and Barrel bedding to not be very soft at all. For a duvet I don't care so much, but I'd rather plain but really soft sheets. Maybe they wash and get softer though.
Ours is a mish mosh right now, but I agree that Bloomingdales always has a nice selection.
