Has to be here worse. I wish I could just go to bed but I can't. I have a 20 month old to take care of. You never truly understand what your parents went through until you are a parent yourself.

I was sick for 10 days with a sick LO while DH was out of town. I thought I was going to die. -
@chopsuey119: ya well mavrick is still sick (end of it though) but the hubs is back from work when he's sleeping. So I know the feeling.

My mom never got sick like I do. She's an amazing women and did a lot- but I get very severe migraines and she has no idea what it's like. But she does know what it's like to watch her daughter be in tons of pain.... I'm hoping I never have to go through that with my LO!

@artbee: I feel like my mom never got sick like I did. I puked every time I was sick whereas my mom can count on her fingers how many times she threw up. But then again we always think we are more sick than the other

NOTHING worse than being sick as a mom. I remember being super sick and settling in for a nap, and RJ waking up from a nap in 30 mins rather than 2 hours. I laid there and hated my life.
Luckily for me, Rob Sr. was able to come home early a lot for me. And the days he couldn't, PBS Sprout was my best friend.

Feel better soon!! One of my earliest memories is of my mom getting a terrible flu when I was little. (I was probably 2 1/2 at the time.) It was the first lesson that my dad gave me in growing up. I wanted my mom to play with me and bring me on my play date, but instead my dad told me that I had to be a big girl and play on my own. (He had to work and also pick up the slack w/ taking care of my little sister.)
