Read this morning that a family with twin 3-yr olds was at the airport, about to board a plane to NY. The twins and the dad survived, the mom didn't.

When will it end?
This is hitting especially close to home for me. I have friends in Brussels including some who just moved this past week. We flew into Brussels airport last Friday and are supposed to fly out from there next Monday. Scary times.

Awful. I just told dh I was on board with moving to Belgium and now I'm having second thoughts.

@Maysprout: I don't know yet. All flights were canceled today. So far, my airline webpage says that flights up to next week can be changed or canceled for free, so I'm keeping an eye out and we'll decide what to do this weekend. We may re-route through Paris, if possible/necessary.

I can't believe this has happened after them being on such high alert there.
It's hard not to feel hopeless about what can be done to prevent these attacks from happening.
