I gues DS is a heavy wetter. He sleeps on his tummy and his entire outfit is soaked in the morning. Whats the best overnight disposable? We currently use up and up for rboth day and night.

We use huggies overnite in a size up too. I think the size up helps because it goes up their back and tummy more.

@locavore_mama: @swedishfish: he is 14 lbs so I dont think the 3's will fit him well enough, they say at least 16 lbs. what do you think?

@citymouse: try it! You'd be surprised. Just put them on tightly.

@citymouse: oh, I never listen to the weight guidelines!
For example she wears a size 6 overnite which is for over 35lbs but she's only 28lbs.lol

@citymouse: I don't think the target ones are that great. We use pampers baby dry and they work, but c also isn't a heavy wetter anymore. Now her diaper is almost dry in the morning until after she nurses.

Pampers extra protection. Sizing up should be fine. We size up in night diapers usually anyways.

Pampers swaddlers in a 3. She can still fit in size 2. Anything else and she wakes up or leaks.

I would totally size up. We have the best luck with Pampers Swaddlers at night. Up and Up is crap at nighttime for us.

We had to use an overnight diaper to fix this - we use Huggies Overnights, has worked great.

We had to switch to Huggies Overnight in her same size to solve this problem. It completely helped. I know it's frustrating to wake up to a soaked kid/crib each morning!!

I think the size up makes a bigger difference than a brand chane does personally. And we have never gone by weight to size diapers!

Try a size up if you don't want to change brands. Pampers Extra Protection or even Pampers Baby Dry does a pretty god job overall. We have occasional leaks but not often enough to be concerned about switching brands.

Size up in Pampers Extra Protection!
IMO Up and Up don't work well for us.

We use up and up during day (no issues) and pampers overnights at night (same size). Works so much better!

Definitely size up. We use Luvs and have never had a problem. Up and up did not work for us at all. We used to use Pampers Swaddlers. They never leaked per se, but they always felt wet on the outside in the morning, like the pee was just saturated through the diaper.

We had this same issue. We use Huggies overnights but that isn't enough. So I got insert pads and that helps a lot. LO still sometimes wakes up with small leaks.
