We all knew this was inevitable, he simply didnt have the numbers. I like Bernie a lot, Im a bit of socialist at heart in truth and his value and ideals spoke to me but in the end I also know that I want a better country for my children and that is not with a President who is a misogynist xenophobic narcissist and so Im glad he finally is throwing his support behind Hilary so we can hopefully squash this nightmare on the other side.

I'm a big fan of Bernie, and while I have some disagreements with Hillary (particularly about foreign policy), she is a passionate, smart, and capable leader who I know wants the best for this country, and I know she wants to advance progressive values to the best of her ability. While she might not have been my first choice, I don't feel like I'll have to hold my nose to vote for her.
(Also, I can't even imagine the damage a Trump presidency could do, particularly when it comes to the Court.)

@winniebee: haha, that was basically my first thought too!
@Mrs. Chocolate: @lovehoneybee: Yes! While I've always supported Hillary, I can totally understand why some people liked Bernie more, but whoever you prefer, Hillary will be a million times better for our country than Trump!

I'm so glad! I actually voted for Sanders because I'm politically more progressive than Clinton, but was getting really frustrated by the divisiveness in the party that his staying in the race so long was causing. However, I do really get it now that what he was doing by staying in until now was getting the party platform to move to the left
