So far it's awesome and a hell of a lot better (and darker) than I thought it would be. Our wedding was at The Stanley Hotel where King was inspired to write it. I can't wait to read the sequel. So this year, I'd have to say The Shining. Ken Follett's new book Edge of Eternity was also good (the last of his triology).

@MK0180: I've been on such a King kick. I thought I would HATE him, and that he would be so dull and dry. However, I've completely done a 180 and am now a HUGE fan! lol
