What's your favorite sleep sack for colder weather? Our nursery is probably the chilliest room in the house so I'd like something heavier than just cotton.

I like the fleece Halo Sacks. The Baby Dee Dee are nice and thick too (cotton but multiple layers).

How old is your LO? I have a few (baby deedee and some fleece ones), but my absolute favorite for winter is an Ikea winter weight sleep sack--I like it way more than my Deedee, and it was a fraction of the cost. BUT my LO grew out of the L by around 1.5 years old, and there is no XL. So at that point, we switched to the Deedee because it's much longer.

This one--it's just like a comforter for a baby--much plusher than the baby deedee. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20265075/

I second the ikea sleep sack. The zipper broke after 3 or 4 months of use but we still got another one. Kept DS cozy and can't beat the price (about $17 Canadian)

Another vote for Baby Deedee. I usually find discounted ones from Amazon Warehouse.

I prefer baby deedee over fleece halo. I find the fleece ones don't breathe so my girls end up sweating in them. The Deedee is breathable so my girls are warm and toasty, without sweating.

@yin: A has outgrown the ones I bought from you. But I think a large will be way too big? I'm not sure what to do!

@Anagram: @muffinsmuffins: DD2 has outgrown the medium Deedee. I'm pretty sure the L Deedee will be enormous in her. How does the IKEA sizing compare?

Last year we used a GroBag which I liked - it seemed all fluffy, like a nice duvet. This year we have a WeeUrban which I also like - it's basically made of sweatshirt material.
Have you also thought about a space heater for the nursery? Our nursery is over the garage so it gets really cold, so we bought this: https://www.lowes.ca/portable-heaters/delonghi-trd40615e-oil-filled-radiant-tower-electric-space-heater-thermostat-energy-saving-setting_g2254321.html and it's amazing. You can program the temperature but it doesn't really get hot, I never worried about my son touching it and hurting himself or starting a fire.

@Dahlia: baby DeeDee! We have a size medium for our 6.5 month old and it's great - with a bit of room to grow!

@regberadaisy: it's right in between! We went from the smaller baby deedee, to the Ikea, to the big deedee.

@regberadaisy: oh no! The large is pretty big, but it might be more comfortable if the medium is too tight. I wish the size difference wasn't so big between the two sizes.
