@babycanuck: I think from what I've read most bakers don't recommend freezing decorated cookies. But you can bake and freeze sugar cookies go decorate at a later date.

Sugar cookies! And I've decorated with royal icing then frozen them- you just have to defrost slowly so the icing colors don't run.

I make/decorate sugar cookies, and while I haven't frozen them yet, I plan to. I highly recommend LilaLoa's sugar cookie recipes. I don't like sugar cookies and I love her's!
