Diamond necklace our first christmas after we were married. Also last Christmas he got me the swarovski tree topper I'd been eyeing but thought was too expensive. Not the most expensive thing he's ever bought me but I loved that he remembered I'd mentioned it, and I feel like it will be an heirloom thing that I'll remember he bought it for me the first Christmas after we had our baby (I'm big on "firsts" I suppose...)

DH is just really good at thinking of thoughtful gifts...like while we were dating, he knew that I loved taking photos (I always had my digital camera with me), so he bought me a photo printer. He also has gotten me really useful things that are really nice--like he noticed that I was wearing the same ratty old sweater every morning when I woke up and got of bed, so he got me a gorgeous cashmere lounge sweater to wear around the house. He has also planned trips for us as a surprise, which are always fun. He is also good about remembering when I mention things I like.
But the absolute best gift he has every gotten me was a "day of fun"--he planned a hair cut, mani/pedi, appt for new glasses, and included a gift card for a shopping trip.

Deluxe, king size feather pillows with personalized pillowcases with a romantic poem (back when we didn't live/sleep together)
A scavenger hunt consisting of books (I love to read)
A mixed CD of indie romantic songs, with significant lyrics written out, ended with "I love you" (which was how he told me he loved me)
An entire outfit (perfect jeans, a top, a sweater, accesories, and shoes) (he has really good fashion sense)

My engagement ring! I should direct him to this thread for some ideas. We're very different and I've always known that so I don't really expect him to know the right gifts.

DH surprised me with a Kitchen Aid stand mixer for my first Mother's Day. We rarely do gifts and I had told him before I had always wanted one.

@DesertDreams88: A scavenger hunt of books?! That's sounds so awesome!!

A really high quality interchangeable knitting needle set. I only pull it out once or twice a year, but I expect to be using it 60 years from now. It's so well constructed and awesome.

Loving the shout out.
I shared (in the other thread) but my DH took me swimming with dolphins for my 30th birthday. I was SO excited because it's been on my bucket list forever.

As of right now? My Apple Watch, given to me just because he thought I'd enjoy one as much as he would, and he wanted us to be able to send each other our heartbeats. I loooove it!

On our wedding day he gave me a Tiffany's initial necklace. I had never owned anything Tiffany's before so i was excited just to see the blue box.
But when I opened the box, the initial wasn't for my first name like I thought it would have been - it was for my maiden name. Even though I had decided to change my last name he knew I was really nostalgic and a bit sad to let go of my maiden name. Now I wear it every single day, and it reminds me of my wedding day and also how thoughtful and caring my husband was!

He's always been good at gift giving, but the things I've loved the most that he's spent money on are the awesome vacations we've taken.

For my 25th birthday, he booked us a trip to NYC as a surprise then took me shopping. He let me pick out anything I wanted at tiffanys while we were there.
That's probably the biggest and most memorable gift!

@jedeve: I have the Boye metal set. It'll last me a life time. I like it was better than the Denise set. Although I see that now you can buy a bamboo set, so that's too bad. But mine are just amazing.

A maternity gown from Seraphine to wear for our anniversary and Valentines Day when I was. 8 and 9 months pregnant and feeling like a whale! Also an amazing leather planner that he had filled with these planner page PDFs that I had found and really liked.

Not in the same league as some of the others...but DH got me this nativity for my first Mother's Day. It is in our living room year round.

For our first Valentine's Day together, my husband bought me these funky bright red patent leather shoes- he had even contacted my best friend to make sure the size was right! I loved the shoes so much that I decided to marry him that day!'

A new HOBO wallet for our 3rd anniversary. I was expecting something little and was super surprise. DH is a good gift giver.

My DH doesn't do well at "object" gifts so he likes to plan "experience" gifts. I think the one that blew me away the most was a weekend trip to NYC. He planned it all by himself (hotel, dinner, tickets to a musical) and it was lovely to just go and know that he had already taken care of everything.

My daughter.
I know that sounds weird but we were childfree by choice and my husband was very firm on this before we got married (I was fully on board). To the point that when I started feeling like I would regret it if I never had children I was really nervous as to how the conversation would go. (1st convo, not great).
Long story short, we agreed to have one child and once it was decided he committed himself fully to the idea. He is a great dad. He takes care of our daughter solo from 8-12 everyday and never complains and does an awesome job.
There is no better gift
Haha - material gifts he is TERRIBLE at.

DH is not the best gift giver, unless I straight out tell him what I want (which I don't mind, but takes the sentimental/thought out of it, I think).
The best gift he thought of on his own was probably this past Christmas when he gave me a gift cert to Destination Maternity to buy a summer maternity wardrobe.

It was my first birthday in Louisiana after just having moved from everything I've ever known in San Diego. It also just so happen to be my first hurricane experience... I woke up that morning to a custom made rose gold cut CA with a diamond marking San Diego. I Don't like jewelry but this one meant so much I was blown away. He also had a little French bulldog puppy waiting for me hahahha. He can never top that I'm sure of it!

He's surprised me a few times with things that I didn't know I wanted, but loved. Once it was a Kindle, once it was a FitBit, but the coolest? For my birthday two years ago, he commissioned a friend who is a graphic designer to create a logo and redesign my blog for me. Never would have thought of it or asked for it, but it was pretty exciting.

For our first anniversary DH surprised me with dinner at Alinea, one of the best restaurants in the country (and very difficult to get reservations). I had no idea where we were going until we got there. I was AHmazing!

DH kind of sucks at gift giving! He was so proud of himself one year when he thought of getting me a scanner
Eta: I needed to scan 1 picture. Lol
