My fave has always been Neutrogena Norwegian Formula, but I get the fast absorbing kind because the regular is a little greasy.

This is my fav, but it's a little spendy. The body shop hemp protector is what I use currently 'cause it's a little more affordable

I like Yes to Carrots' Intense Repair Hand Cream. I work in a hospital and am constantly in/out of patients' rooms, and have to use hand sanitizer each time. YtC protects my hands from drying out! I love it, and it's not super spendy and easy to find at Target.

@Mamaof2: I love the hemp hand protector!
Groupon & Livingsocial often have Body Shop deals, I'll get one of those a few times a year, then go to the store when they're having a buy two get one free or some other promotion, and totally stock up. I feel weird buying six or so tubes of it at once, but the salespeople tell me it's totally normal. I carry a tube of it in my bag at all times!

I love the L'occitane shea butter one too!! Definitely worth the money.

I love L'occitane, but I don't buy it often (luckily my aunt usually gives me a little tube for Christmas!)
I also love CeraVe; it's not cheap, but you don't need much. A little pea sized squeeze will do you! They sell it at BJ's now too, which helps some.

@Mamaof2: I agree, just logging in to say that (as I take off my rings and lather some on at my desk!)

@Honeydew: LOVE it! Only complaint is that when you've used up a good portion, the container it comes in becomes hard to squeeze. Otherwise, the scent is heavenly and it works well.

Eucerin. I carry a little tube of it in my purse always.

I'll jump on the L'Occitane Shea Butter hand cream band wagon. It's worth every penny and a tube lasts a long time because the lotion is so rich, you don't need very much.

Another L'Occitane fan here. The giant tube lasts over a year for me.

i just borrowed some vanicream from my friend and really like it.
ETA: the l'occitane shea butter hand cream is popular but for some reason was too greasy on my skin. good excuse to go try out a sample!
