I want to make photo books for our parents for the holidays--any suggestions for good ones? I know Adorama Pix, blurb, and shutterfly are generally popular choices....my top priorities would be ease of use/easy to layout pics, and good quality books/photos in the book. Thanks!

I used blurb for my wedding album and it came out great. I think I'm going to use shutterfly for a first year book of LO.

I've used Adorama Pix and Shutterfly, and Adorama Pix is way better quality, imo.

I made some parents wedding albums with Adorama Pix and the quality was really good. I've also made books with Shutterfly and My Publisher. Adorama was definitely high quality but I do like Shutterfly for ease of use and you get unlimited photo storage so they don't delete your photos and books that you're working on.

Adoramapix. I'm a graphic designer and picky and they are the best I've used. I love how lay flat pages are included.

I make a lot of books on Shutterfly. It is easy to use and the quality is decent for the price. If you're a photo minimalist (as in, you can stick to a 26 page book of just the best shots once and a while), then I might go for Adorama Pix, but I want to print nearly ALL my pictures (even the semi-crappy cell phone ones) and I generally don't like more than a few pictures per page, so Shutterfly makes more sense.

Adoramapix is by far the best quality of those you listed. Shutterfly is the cheapest and lowest quality. The pages will yellow in under 3 years. Blurb is better quality but still printed on printer paper (even if you get the premium paper). Adoramapix uses actual photo paper and has lay-flat pages.

I've used Adorama and Shutterfly. I prefer Adorama Pix even though it's more expensive.

@honeybear: eek I am the same way, at least for myself...
maybe I'll make myself a cheapie that includes a ton of pics and make the grandparents a nicer one that has fewer pics

I prefer adorama. Their books have thicker pages and their books have flush mount so the pages lay flat
