Like under $300?
D works in a warehouse and has never had to dress up, so we've never had to get one...but we need one for Christmas/family memorial service.

Macy's usually has a few suits on sale for <300. I think I even see some for 180 regularly.

Kohls is great for suits under $150 or so and the pants are pre hemmed.

@lawbee11: Ugh, no. D got sized at Kohl's and was told he was a rare size and they had NO jackets there in his size, but that we should go online. Then we went to Burlington Coat Factory and the jackets he tried on in the size she told us were way too tight around the shoulders. We went a size or two up, and sent pics to MIL*, and then she called and requested that we go to Bon-Ton or Macy's.
I had zero interest in braving the mall on a Sunday 10 days before Christmas, so we're going to try Macy's or Bon-Ton on Tuesday, when D goes into work late.
My head's about to explode.
*FIL had told me to just check out a consignment shop. MIL then called and asked that I buy a real suit for him. It'll be used for both a nice Christmas dinner and for his Gram's memorial a few days later.

Jos A bank? They are expensive but always have sales like buy one get one free or 50% off coats

@lovehoneybee: TJ Maxx, JcPenney or Macys. DH got a Calvin Klein suit from Macys, on sale with coupons for $99!

JC Penny's has some good stuff, and really expert help. We got my husband a suit last summer that was very good for the very rare formal wedding.

@lovehoneybee: definitely try Macy's tomorrow. DH and his wedding party bought nice suits there for under $200 a couple of years ago. They might give you an extra discount if you open a Macy's card.

DH just got some really good deals from Jos A Banks, but, the pants are unhemmed, so you do have to take that cost/time into consideration. But getting the pants hemmed is the best way to make sure they fit well.
