I am not not necessarily looking for CHEAP lighting fixtures, but I would like a good deal (AKA sale).
I've checked out Joss and Main, Wayfair, and Target. Any other good places to look?

I got mine from Lamps Plus. I just ordered mine online but there are showrooms.

Lamps plus has an outlet site. Also, try overstock.com.
Eta: I've bought several "open box" items from the lamps plus outlet site and they were all perfect. You can return, I believe, if there are issues.

Ask about floor samples or open boxes at your local lighting stores. We had been looking for quite some time for a larger fixture for our entryway and scored a deal on an open box.

Hayneedle and Houzz! I have two friends remodeling and both used those for light fixtures.

Rejuvenation if you sign up for their sales emails, DH builds them so if you show me what you like, we can also make something for you! I also still have 3 lights to buy because I've made too many lighting decisions recently.
