I think we are (gulp) going to enter the world of potty training. Any suggestions for a good potty seat for a boy?

We just (prematurely, but optimistically) got the bjorn smart potty. It's small/ low to the ground, and it's great for my smaller sized daughter and my smaller sized apartment. She loves it- it's comfy and she sits in it all the time. For fun. Not for potty-ing. But you know, baby steps.

@Silva: hm looks like a smaller version of the other bjorn one! I need to see how much space we actually have in the bathroom...I guess I need to leave the potty out all the time right?

@hilsy85: yeah, we are just kind of leaving it out and hoping she gets interested/curious.
Our daughter is short (10% for height). If my kid was tall I'd worry about how short this potty is, and maybe try the bigger one. I do like that with this one, she can almost get on/off by herself and she's just barely walking! -

This is just potty traning lite though, he's been telling us when he poops sometimes so I feel like I should buy a potty for practice, even though I kind of just want to avoid the whole thing!

@hilsy85: we got one for xmas as a gift...ill look it up. But omg!! A has been doing the same.. sitting down and saying poop or standing around saying poop after he goes n pointing to his dipe....carazyyy

We have the Bjorn and a prince lionheart weepod, which is just an attachment for the regular toilet. He prefers the ring for the regular toilet by far, but we keep the Bjorn in the living room. We're classy like that.
