I've been reading a lot ever since LO was born. Like... I think I read 50 books in 2014. And like 45 of those were from May-December. I'm reading somewhat less now that she needs to be rocked significantly less, but still a book every week or two.
Mostly I like really crappy books. Like the Law and Order of books haha (for example I read the whole 21 books in the Stephanie Plum series, and am now working my way through the Harry Bosch series).
But I'm feeling like since I"m reading SO much maybe I should try reading books that would like... teach me something. Or expand my world view a little. Or something. Except if I'm being honest I have the attention span of a hamster when it comes to reading, I really need a very compelling/action-filled or funny book to keep me interested.
Anyone have any books that might fit the bill? I just added Ashley's War to my reading list because the author was on Daily Show last night and it sounded both interesting and like I'd learn something about the military.
