I'm trying to find some jeans for LO for the fall...he was 30 inches and 18lbs 5oz at his 9 month appt, so he's tall and skinny...I bought some baby gap jeans in 12-18 month because they have the adjustable waist but even on the tightest setting they're still huge and baggy on him.
Any other recs for skinny jeans for skinny boys? I know H&M runs big...what about zara?

old navy. girls section. seriously, my son has a pair from on that are girls (but pass EASILY for boys) and they fit his skinny little waist perfect. they are size 18 months and he's 13 months/20 pounds/30 inches

@Freckles: I haven't, but I'd rather find some thing that runs smaller, since the waist is ALWAYS too big on him.

I realize this is an old post but thought I'd ask on here rather than starting a new thread on the same topic...any other recommendations for skinny jeans/jeggings for tall and skinny kiddos? I'm putting my little girl in skirts that are size 6 months MAX to get the waist to fit, but that's not going to fly in terms of pant length when the weather gets cooler.
@stargal - The Old Navy rec really surprises me since I find their adult clothing tends to run really large (and since like @Hilsy85, I also have some Gap 12-18 month skinny jeans that are enormous in both length and width for my LO - you'd think ON and Gap sizing would be similar since they're made by the same company!) I'll have to check it out!

@hilsy85: def old navy girls' section. olive is also tall and super thin -- gap's waists are HUGE on her! even their leggings are baggy. old navy runs small and they have small waists.
@PinkElephant: and yes their adult clothing runs big, but i find their kids' clothes run a little small. olive usually fits true to size because she's thin and charlie i always size up.

We've had good success with Tea. We really have to crank the waistbands down though. Thank goodness for skinny jeans or my girls couldn't wear jeans at all!

@PinkElephant: I actually found that Osh Kosh skinny jeans fit REALLY well. They have an adjustable waistband, and it actually looks normal when you cinch it in all the way (not like Gap jeans, where it looks all weirdly folder when it's cinched). So I have two pairs from Osh Kosh. I also tried Old Navy girls, and the 12-18 month skinny jeans fit PERFECTLY right now, but I feel like he would outgrow them in a month, so I would size up in those. H&M apparently also fits tall and skinny well, as long as you size down--check out my wall for some photos that @SCG00387 posted.

@PinkElephant: ya there adult clothes rub huggge! I don't know why but p has a pair that are 18 months and there tight on him and hes a slim Jim! I was shocked when I put them on him. I do only have one pair from old navy for him though. But def check the girls section out. I noticed boys section tends to run wider in the jeans then the girls.

@Hilsy85 - Thanks for letting me add some ?s to this - I think I'll be ordering an assortment of ON, Carter's, and OshKosh to try out. Her H&M 4-6 m pants from last year still fit, albeit as capris. Maybe she just needs some boots to keep her ankles covered...
@Mrs. Bee - good to know on the old navy sizing - I ordered a bunch of summer clothes ahead during the last big sale - I'll have to check the fit a bit more carefully, LO's spring wardrobe may all need to be returned!
@stargal - my LO is a girl so we are in that section anyway

The Carter's girls skinny jeans are really nice. I have to take the sides in like 6 notches, but they fit nicely.

Zara!
A has a pair of skinnyjeans from zara 6-9 mth size that fit hum but legs r still a bit big at ten mths. He's around 30 inches & 20-21 lbs
