I'm not interested in getting my kiddo an iPad, afterall mommy doesn't have one yet. But I do want to get her a tablet for her own use. Any recommendations? She's about to be four and this will be her birthday gift.

I do NOT recommend the VTech. The screen is not very responsive and there are game cartridges to keep track of.

We have and iPad and kindle. I love the iPad, but for the price the kindle is serving us well. Don't get a kurio.
