We're going to be taking a 3 hour flight with LO in July. She'll be 7 months old at the time. Anybody have suggestions for flight times?

I've read nap times or bed time are great but no matter when you go if you include security, driving, etc you will be gone at nap time. I flew at 4 months with LO and chose not to do it overnight because I would rather deal with her being awake during the day and we could BOTH sleep at night. I knew I wouldn't sleep on the plane even if she did (which she didn't) because I'd be too stressed/worried.
It's personal preference.

we've taken day flights and evening flights. if your lo is nursing and falls asleep nursing, then a night flight would probably be easiest. some kids do better with a morning flight when they're in their best mood. a 3 hour flight is not that long though, so i think you have some flexibility esp if your lo can fall asleep nursing or in the carrier or in the stroller.

We've had the best luck with a nap time flight. Then, I can just nurse her and she will sleep at least half the flight. Our one bedtime flight resulted in a very hyper baby
