Anyone have any recommendations for good gloves/mittens for toddlers? I definitely don't want to be housebound this winter but running around the park LO's hands turn to ice!

The best ones are the ones that stay on! Right now, we're using a pair of mittens that came with last year's hat.
I would love some suggestions for windproof mittens for toddlers, i have a pair for me, but I am not certain they carry kids.
This weekend, I am heading to REI.

@hilsy85: I know. There is a baby gap a block from my house and i'm forced to walk past it every time i go anywhere. I have to divert my eyes!

We have Patagonia mittens, they are warm and stay on well and seem waterproof although last winter when we got them he wasn't digging around in the snow as much. they have velcro on the back of the hand so are easier to put on and harder for him to take off. Not cheap but worth it.
PS They go on sale at the end of the season, sale starts late jan/early feb, I think they were 50% off last spring. For mamas who are planning ahead
